Nothnagle Realtors is growing and as a result we are looking to expand our IT department. Our in-house IT staff is responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of web-based applications for both public and private company websites. As new technologies become available it is the responsibility of the IT staff to research how best they can be used to the company’s benefit. With constant changes in technology the possibilities are endless.
Our back-office tools consist of interactive applications and reports that help with day-to-day operations and provide valuable insight to the local real estate market. Nothnagle’s public-facing websites provide visitors with accurate information on thousands of listings, current market statistics, and an easy way to connect with agents to assist them with their buying and selling needs. Nothnagle.com has won several awards and we continue to add new functionality on a consistent basis.
Duties Include:
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support web based applications using ASP.Net (C#) for Corporate Applications
- Research, design and develop software components
- Develop databases using Microsoft SQL server and programming using Transact SQL (stored procedures, triggers, and functions)
- Provide operational production support to existing processes and recommend solutions for improvement
- Design, create, and test prototypes while implementing new features
- Ensure that best practices and company standards are followed in system development
- Analyze, cleanse, collate, evaluate, manage, and validate vital enterprise wide application dependent data and information
- Create and maintain documentation such as user guides and technical maintenance steps

| Requirements: |
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent with at least 3 years of recent hands-on experience developing in .Net technologies, preferably with C#
- Fundamental architectural design and programming skills including experience designing and programming large scale applications using design patterns and Object Oriented methodology is required
- Experience with several of the following frameworks/methodologies is required: SOA, Microsoft Enterprise Library, OO Design, Continuous Integration, and Test Driven development
- Web UI design including ASP.Net, AJAX, Silverlight, HTML, JavaScript, VB Script, CSS, and jQuery is required
- Good understanding of relational databases and experience with fundamental SQL
- Experience with all aspects of the SDLC and agile methodology preferred
- Familiarity and/or experience with OO principles and design patterns; fundamental understanding of UML
- Candidate must possess strong teamwork and communication skills and an ability to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
